What DiffALL measures

📜

Content Credentials, verified

OpenAI's Sora and other tools sign the videos they make (C2PA). DiffALL reads the signature and checks it against the trust list, with no network call.

🎞️

Frames from the whole clip

Eight frames spread from start to end, each read by the detector, so one odd moment does not decide the answer. Each frame's own estimate is shown.

⚖️

Never 0, never 100

The scale stops at 3 and 97, and the middle of it means exactly what it says: not conclusive.

🚫

Harder than a still, and it says so

Video compression smooths away much of what a detector reads, so AI video is missed more often than an AI image. The result says that beside the number.

Frequently asked questions

How does DiffALL tell whether a video was made with AI?

It first reads the file's Content Credentials (C2PA), which OpenAI's Sora and other tools sign into their output, and checks that signature. If the file says nothing, eight frames from across the clip are read by a detector model and their estimates are combined into one number from 3 to 97.

Why is video harder than images?

Video is compressed far harder than a photo, and compression smooths away the fine detail a detector reads. Expect AI video to be missed more often than AI images, and treat a low number as “no signs found”, never as proof the clip is real.

How long can the video be?

Up to 3 minutes and 150 MB. The eight frames are spread across the whole upload, so a longer clip costs the same as a short one.

Is my video stored?

No. It is deleted as soon as the check finishes.
